Close your Express account: A step-by-step guide

As a Talkdesk Express account owner or administrator, you have the authority to close your account through a self-service process. Please be aware that any remaining balance in your wallet is non-refundable.

Important considerations before closing your account:

  • Authorization: Ensure you are the account owner, admin, or hold a similar role with the authorization to close the account.

  • Data and Access Loss: All authorized users will lose access to the account and its data within 5 minutes of closing the account. This includes:

    • Loss of access to any purchased phone numbers.

    • Inability to complete ongoing or unread conversations; any active calls will be disconnected.

    • Irrecoverability of your account name.

  • Prepaid Credits: Any unused prepaid credits will automatically expire upon account closure, and no refunds will be issued.

  • Billing: Your credit card will not be charged for any amounts after closing the account, even if auto-recharge is enabled.

How to cancel your Express account:

  1. Log In: Access your account

  2. Navigate to Admin: Once logged in, go to the 'Admin/Billing/Overview' section.

  3. Initiate Cancellation: Within 'Admin/Billing/Overview,' select the option to 'Close Account.'

  4. Confirm Action: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your decision to close the account.

Please note that this process is irreversible. Ensure you have backed up any necessary data before proceeding.
